Alfonso Galindo, Ph.D.

Dr. Alfonso J Galindo is a partner in Philanthropy Solutions, a firm that provides "the right data, at the right time to help make the right decisions" to nonprofit fundraising clients.  Philanthropy Solutions enables nonprofit development departments to maximize their data solutions by outsourcing their database management role.  Galindo is an international nonprofit leader with expertise in education, arts, government, and social service organizations.  Galindo works with clients in California, Washington DC, Texas, New York, and Mexico City.

 

Galindo has been Executive Director of the Worldwide Consortium of Research on Mexico, a Los Angeles-based think tank with 35 years of experience in analyzing Mexican social and economic policy and bilateral US-Mexico relations.  He was a founding partner of "Romero Hicks & Galindo," a 15-year-old Mexico City-based consulting firm, and acts as V.P. of Development for "Education by Experience," a global initiative promoting environmental and civic education and principles in K-12 students.

 

Mr. Galindo received his Ph.D. in History from UCLA (2007), where he also graduated with honors with an M.A. in Latin American Studies (1992).  He holds a Master's degree in Law (LL.M) from Harvard Law School (1995), a Master's degree in Public Policy (MPP) from UC Berkeley (1994), and a J.D. from the National University of Mexico (UNAM 1990).

 

Mr. Galindo has worked for UCLA and several academic institutions in the U.S. and Mexico, as well as for the Mexican Federal Government, the State Government of Puebla, and as a consultant to several U.S. and Mexican corporations doing business over the border.
