History
Philanthropy Solutions was founded in response to a challenge familiar to many development teams: the volume and complexity of nonprofit data had outgrown the capacity of a single database coordinator. We built a team of experienced nonprofit data professionals to provide the specialized support organizations need.
By outsourcing database management and gift processing, our clients gain cleaner data, stronger reporting, and more time to focus on fundraising—without adding full-time overhead.

Benjamin Wirick
PARTNER
Ben runs client engagements and leads business development for Philanthropy Solutions. He's spent more than 25 years in nonprofit development - including growing annual fundraising at AltaMed Health Services from $1.2M to $15M over six years. He built Philanthropy Solutions around a simple belief: that strong fundraising starts with clean operations, not just good strategy.
Rosie Chien
PARTNER & CLIENT MANAGER
Rosie oversees client relationships and keeps engagements running smoothly from start to finish. She brings more than 15 years of development experience across individual giving, grants management, and major gifts - most recently as Chief Development Officer at Boys & Girls Club, where she launched a first-ever major gifts program. Clients describe her as the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Gabriela Pedraza
DATA SERVICES MANAGER
Gabriela manages data services for Philanthropy Solutions' client portfolio - translating messy, inconsistent donor databases into clean, reporting-ready infrastructure. She's been doing this work since 2022 and was doing it before that at PROFMEX, an international nonprofit where she managed their donor database. Her background in anthropology gives her an unusual eye for data: she's trained to find the patterns, not just run the reports.

Perla handles data integrity and prospect research - ensuring donor records are accurate, complete, and ready to drive strategy. She works at the intersection of clean data and donor intelligence, helping clients understand not just who their donors are, but who they could be.

GIFT PROCESSING SPECIALIST
Erika manages gift processing for Philanthropy Solutions clients - handling accurate, timely entry and acknowledgement so donors are recognized and no gift goes untracked. She's the person ensuring that every transaction that comes in is recorded correctly, coded properly, and acknowledged within the window that keeps donor trust intact.

Regina leads marketing and outreach for Philanthropy Solutions - shaping how the organization shows up to prospective clients and the broader nonprofit sector. She handles the communications work that keeps Philanthropy Solutions visible and credible, from social presence to written materials.
